I feel like she shouldn't stop at cash. If i was in that world and bandits attacked me, you can bet your ass that i wouldn't stop at just cash. I'd take their cash, weapons, artifacts, accessories, strip them completely naked of all their armor, all the way down to their underpants (even that), and take all their supplies and potions too. ESPECIALLY if they had any magical spacial inventory bags or something. Because more likely then not, with bandits attacking merchants, they'd most likely get a hold of a magical spacial storage bag. Those would be the best thing to grab.

This world seems pretty lawless, with the exception of the largest cities and even then it would most likely be privately owned security forces. I think "might makes right" is kind of the law here in the boonies anyways.

i think the situation was a bit more complicated for him than that. i don't recall all the details but i am pretty sure he didn't get off that easy and the anime cut out alot.

didnt Sarasa's conversation at the end with him hint at the fact that he accrued debt? getting money back wont help him if he still had debt. Also, what Animetor said, losing his source of income would screw him even further, especially if he's got no money. Any money he DID make back, had to go back to paying off his debt. I fully suspect that the people he borrowed money from would charge interest.

Yeah, he got paid a miniscule amount for the bat fangs, while having taken on some debt to buy them previously. It's likely that money didn't even come close to paying off his debt.
Judging by his jewelry, I'd say he probably could pay off his debt... but losing the alchemists would indeed hamper his business greatly. From the anime alone, it's hard to say how he ends up. Could still be doing shady business, or could be in debtor's hell.

of course leaving him bankrupt would have been ideal 😂 but it also means he lost a big piece of his future income.. was still a losing endeavor for him and a valuable lesson 😁

when you think about that intelligence level she has, how she was studying so much when she was a little kid, ESPECIALLY when all the other kids were playing in the orphanage, i would assume she was reincarnated. This is like a story subtlely suggesting it, without telling us. I dont think there's many orphaned children at that age that'd be interested in studying like that instead of playing unless they were reincarnated.
